BagPop™ Aroma Spray Method: How to Get the Perfect "Bag Pop"

Goal:
Create a powerful, brand-matched aroma that delivers an immediate, "loud" impact the moment your bag, jar, or pouch is opened. Elevate your product’s shelf appeal with a signature scent that defines your premium brand experience.

Suggested Starting Range (Per Ounce of Material):

  • 1 Spray per Oz  Light Accent: A subtle, refined hint of aroma for a delicate finish.
  • 2 Sprays per Oz  Standard Strong BagPop™: Our recommended setting for a bold, unmistakable brand presence.
  • 3 Sprays per Oz  Extra-Loud BagPop™: Maximum aromatic intensity. (Note: Test small batches first when using this extra-strong application.)

Goal
Create a bold, brand-matched aroma that hits as soon as the bag, jar, or packaging is opened.

How to apply (batch spray)

1. Prepare the batch
• Spread flower / plant material evenly in a clean tray, bin, or work surface.
• Break up large clumps so coverage is as even as possible.

2. Set your starting dose
• Choose a starting point between 1–2 sprays per ounce.
• Hold the nozzle about 8–12 inches above the surface for a fine, even mist.

3. Spray in light passes
• Use smooth, sweeping motions across the batch rather than blasting one spot.
• Gently toss or turn the material between passes so all sides see light coverage.

4. Let it rest
• Allow the treated batch to rest 15–30 minutes before sealing in bags or jars.

Drop Method – On-Inhale Flavor

Goal:
Make the product taste like during the session, not just smell good in the bag.

Suggested starting range (per piece):
• 2–3 drops per bud or pre-roll → light, clean flavor
• 4–5 drops per bud or pre-roll → bold, flavor-forward experience

Goal
Make the material taste like the flavor name during the session, not just smell good in the bag.

How to apply (drop method)

1. Choose your target pieces
Pick the buds, nugs, or pre-rolls you want to enhance. This method is best for featured batches, premium runs, or anything where flavor needs to stand out.

2. Pick your starting dose
Start with 2–3 drops per piece for a light, clean accent that matches the label.
Test 4–5 drops per piece on a separate sample when you want bold, flavor-forward sessions.

3. Apply drops evenly
Add drops directly to each piece, spacing them so the surface is coated evenly instead of one heavy wet spot.
For pre-rolls, treat each one like a single piece: run the drops along the length rather than just one end.

4. Seal, then let the batch rest
After dosing, move the treated material into its bags, jars, or other packaging and seal promptly.
Let the sealed batch rest for 15–30 minutes so the aroma has time to move through the container and infuse pieces that didn’t get hit directly.

5. Allow time before use
For anything that will be lit or heated, allow treated material to rest at least 10–15 minutes before the session. This gives the product time to settle so you experience the intended flavor profile.

Pro tips (drop method)

  • Use drops to fine-tune flavor after you already like your BagPop™ level from the Spray Method.

  • Lighter dosing works well when you want your original profile plus a subtle twist.

  • Heavier dosing is great for candy, dessert, and bold fruit concepts where the flavor name is the star.

  • When you test different drop counts, label each batch clearly and keep notes so you can repeat the winner later.
